Lasagna pinoy, or Filipino lasagna, is a sweet and cheesy white sauce-based casserole dish commonly served for lunch or dinner. In contrast to the well-known Italian variety, lasagna pinoy uses diced hot dog within the meat mixture and large amounts of cheddar cheese. The type of cheddar cheese you select will affect the flavor of the lasagna pinoy, and sharp cheddar provides the strongest flavor.
